Liv Lockwood is a queer Choreographer and Movement Director based in South London.

Her work spans across many disciplines, permeating stage, screen and collaborations with fashion brands. Liv's work tackles themes of  honesty, primitive instinct, identity and community. Her earthy, uninhibited approach to being and moving has become her signature. Liv's first interaction with dance was as a child at her Devon home in her makeshift studio/living room, she had an instinct to move early on, devoting  movement as a way to fuel her imagination whilst flexing outside of her comfort zone; in essence movement has always been sacrosanct for Liv.

Liv moved to London to train in contemporary dance, where she relented the more classical and rigid styles of training that she hadn't encountered before. Alongside her training, she began exploring other spaces to practise and present her work; she quickly turned to choreographing live work on stage and screen, often challenging institutional rigor by working across a variety of industries and genres.

Most recently she has worked with the likes of AURORA, London Grammar, 1975, Kaeto, Gucci, Hublot, Aesop and CAHAYA. Her work has been featured heavily in music videos, commercials, fashion films and has been performed on international stages.

Liv has a distinctive style and holistic approach when working; pursuing intention, energy and physical dramaturgy. She loves creating a movement language that empowers individuals to authentically develop a stronger sense of self and confidently explore their own instinct to move.
